~ Hazel Atlas.... Measuring Cups... the Kellogg's version...

I have been spending a little time hitting up the sales. Estate sales, garage sale and a couple of auctions.  And finally bought the Hazel Atlas measuring cups.

That have the "Kellogg's" brand name embossed in the bottom of the cup.

These depression glass, measuring cups were mass produced. And had been part of a give away from Kellogg's many decades ago. Needless to say.... oodles of them have survived. And I seem to go through periods where I see them everywhere.

I decided that it might be time to purchase a couple of them. Before I jack around and can't buy them cheap anymore.

So I have bought four.

All bought at different sales and all in good condition.

I also picked up a cute linen table cloth too!

But it turned out to be too busy of a pattern to use under these cups... those are some over powering flowers! The cups were lost in all the color....

I had to fold it up, to find some white for a background. In order to see the detail on the cups. So basically I had to use the outer white edges. But I wanted to show off the bold pattern of the red flowers with the pink center.

Be sure to check out all the thrifty finds at....

The measuring cups are a terrible fascination for me.

But they are not overwhelming to store... so I just keep on buying them. :)
