~ Odd things... green shaker and bisque boy...

I went to a small sale and bought a couple of odd little things. The first thing I picked up was this green depression glass shaker. I normally try to avoid buying singles... but since it had its lid. I decided to splurge and give up a quarter for it.
Now I do have a set of these shakers in cobalt blue. Which I have always been fond of... they just glow when light flows through them...
So I am hoping to find a cheap mate for the green shaker one...

Then I came across this little guy...
I can not decide if I should scrub him clean. I am thinking someone painted him at some point... after the original paint flaked off. But he is a older figurine that was made in Japan. He too cost me a quarter.
I am missing the Summer sales.... it has been slim pickings since around last October. Which is kind of odd. Since our winter has been extremely mild. Basically, summer has never went away we are having year round summer weather in Dallas.... and normally that would mean a fair amount of weekend estate/garage sales.

Now be sure to look at the wonderful finds at....
