How about some Pyrex love....

Here are two of my most favorite things from the Pyrex family. Turquoise and Pink!
Oh... how I want this set of bowls. I keep finding them one at a time in the antique malls. Never a full matching set. And I really want a minty set of these. Just to stare at.
The glamorous Pyrex Pink refrigerators. I only have one small square from this set solid pink set. But she lives with her cousins, in my cabinets.

I love the list prices on this stuff. But granted at the time of when it was new in the box and on the shelves... Pyrex was consider pricey stuff.  Say in 1960....  $2.95 equals $21.50 in today's money. And that $3.45 for the pink refrigerators would be $25.00 .....

But make no mistake about it... I would willingly give up $21.50 for that set of turquoise mixing bowls. Used.
I just love the shape of the Pyrex teapots. Oddly enough I have never seen one of these teapots in person. I have seen the double boiler and the coffee pot. But no teapot.

Love this post. I too collect the turquoise and pink Pyrex. I actually have the teapot. My husband found it for me at Goodwill around Christmastime for $1.99. It works great!

We have one of the teapots and I was so thrilled when I came across it in a thrift store! I love the Pink so much but the prices have really gotten high for them. Still I treasure my few pink pieces.
