~Hazel Atlas - the Big ice tea glasses... in lots of colors...

I love this style of big drinking glasses. I seem to find them in spurts. And this has been a good month for finding them. I hit up a couple of my favorite independent thrift/junk stores and came up with some good things, for daily use in the kitchen.
All of these wonderful vintage drinking glasses were made by my favorite girl, Hazel Atlas.
I am so happy that they all had good bright graphics still on them.

The turquoise diamond pattern one is a duplicate for me! I was so excited to see it. I have had one of these for a few years. I keep cooking utensils sitting in, on my cabinet, by the stove. So I am excited to have two of them now....
I finally got a picture of the Hazel Atlas mark on the bottom of these glasses to show up!

But sadly these glasses do have hard water stains. And unfortunately, I am out of that hard water stain cleaner that I like to use. I didn't realize I had used it all up. Must get a new bottle of it this week!
To give you an idea how big these are... lets measure them up to my normal glassware...

I also picked up those tiny pink flower juice glasses recently too.
They will get their own posting later...

I did recently purchased a fabulous vintage Anchor Hocking ball pitcher... in Pink! See it here....

And be sure to check out all the great things this week at ~Apron Thrift Girl!

I love them, I don't tend to see much of these type of glasses around which is a shame.

I don't believe I have seen glasses like that here. What do you use for hard water stains? It's a shame when lovely glasses are ruined when they were run through a dishwasher, though I totally understand the convenience of a dishwasher. I don't have one now and I miss it, but my dishes and glassware are being treated a bit kinder.
I've said it before, LOVE your kitty. I might just have to see if I can find one.

There are multiple products to use for removing hard water stains.

From Barkeepers to products found in the automotive aisle in Walmart.

My Daddy has one that I use, that I like the most. But I can't tell you the name of it off the top of my head. It is actually sold to get hard water stains off car paint. :) And it's something he always has in the garage at their home.

The white Kitten is from Holt Howard. She is a salt shaker. And she is easy to find.

But I have notice the painted eyes on them vary. So look close at them before you bid on one of them. To make sure you like the looks of her eyes.
