Thrifting around the county...

I found two really darling aprons this last week. This red one, made use of a pretty red floral hanky. It looks as if it was one large handkerchief that was cut evenly into four squares. Three used for the hem. One quarter used for the pocket. Such a really neat use of a handkerchief.
The apron below is such a cutie. It is a lilac flower print. And had a nice floral decoration on the bib.
The cotton print had faded... all over... with the exception of the ties. They are still very bright and look fresh.

Now this little beauty was in tragic condition when I purchased her. Table was covered in decades of dirt and grime. And most likely had been stored in a garage. I did not think she would have cleaned up. I purchased the table thinking she would be a craft project and end up painted.
It didn't cross my mind to photograph the table before I cleaned her up. I had left her sitting outside, fearing I would bring in bugs into the house, if I didn't.

So in the very brisk cold weather, I was outside with my Playtex gloves and bucket of hot soapy water washing the table down. I hosed her off with clean water. Promptly dried the table with a towel.

Then I brought newly clean table in the house. Where she dried out over night, after the bath. I used a little orange oil on her and she shined up really nice.
And there, in the corner, is one of my favorite things.... that I normally have in my kitchen. My Pink Swiffer!

And here are three random finds this week.
The bowl is a Fire King. And both glasses are Hazel Atlas.

Be sure to check out what everyone else found this week!

These glasses are awesome! I just found a beautiful blue, white, pink polka dot glass at a thrift, wonder if it's Hazel Atlas? Have yet to post it to my blog. But ya, great glasses!
